Call it our Civic duty, but we want you to get a strong sense of the varying Civic trims so you can confidently decide on the one that seems best suited for you!
Honda Civic LX
The Honda Civic LX trim is the base. It comes outfitted with a 2.0L 4-cylinder engine that produces 158 horsepower ad 138 lb-ft of torque and is mated to the Continuously Variable Transmission.
The interior features the 5-inch Color LCD display that gives access to the media options. The LX also comes standard with Honda Sensing®, which includes features like the Collision Mitigation Braking System™, Lane Departure Warning, Adaptive Cruise Control with Low-Speed Follow, and more!
The Sport includes the previously mentioned engine but mated to a 6-speed manual transmission to give drivers a more hands-on performance. Then, some of the biggest differences between the Sport and base are the interior features.
The Sport adds the 7-inch High-Resolution Electrostatic touchscreen display with customizable feature settings as well as an 8-speaker sound system. This trim upgrade also includes crucial features for today’s driver, like Apple CarPlay®, Android Auto™, and HondaLink®.
Honda Civic EX
The EX trim brings a new engine to the Civic. The 1.5L 4-cylinder turbo engine is able to produce 174 horsepower and 162 lb-ft of torque. It also brings back the CVT.
This trim includes the same interior amenities that the Sport added to the sedan. However, a new addition to the Civic with the EX is the One-Touch Power Moonroof with Tilt Feature, the Fin-Type Roof Antenna, and the Body-Colored Decklid Spoiler. The EX also adds Honda LaneWatch™ to the assortment of Honda Sensing® features.
On top of carrying over the turbo engine, the EX-L adds the leather-trimmed seats for its passengers as well as the HomeLink® Remote System and the Automatic-Dimming Rearview Mirror. It also carries over the moonroof, spoiler, and moonroof featured on the previous trim.
Honda Civic Touring
The Civic Touring is the highest trim in the lineup. It includes all of the high-end features added on by each varying Honda Civic trim level as well as a few new features. For convenience, it features Rain-Sensing Windshield Wipers and LED Headlights with Auto-On/Off.
In the cabin, the Touring trim adds a few new features. This includes the Honda Satellite-Linked Navigation System™ with Voice Recognition and Honda HD Digital Traffic and the Premium 10-speaker Audio System.
